Project Overview:

Through a partnership between The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA) and Main Street DeFuniak Springs (MDS), a high-quality, immersive art experience will be developed with a selected artist applicant to represent Downtown DeFuniak Springs, as well as celebrate the history of The Big Store building.

  • MDS and CAA are seeking an artist or graphic designer to create a digital background in which to incorporate historic photography of DeFuniak Springs. The desired outcome is to create an immersive exhibit on the building.
  • A vinyl window wrap will be printed and installed on existing windows of The Big Store building in Downtown DeFuniak Springs. This project will serve as a source of education and inspiration as the building is facing the highly-trafficked Baldwin Avenue.
